I’m delighted to invite you to a special Open Studio & Garden Tour at my home in Antelope, California, happening Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Just RSVP for the address and come enjoy a beautiful spring day immersed in art and nature.

This is the first time in quite a while I’ve hosted an open studio in my own space. Since I live a bit outside the boundaries of the organized tours I typically participate in, many of you haven’t yet had the chance to visit my personal creative haven. And after being asked several times when I’d open my garden to visitors, I thought: Why not do both? Spring, before the Sacramento Valley heat settles in, felt like the perfect time.

What to Expect:

You’ll be able to stroll through my home garden, filled with texture, color, and inspiration. In the past two years since we tore out our lawn and laid down pathways, I’ve planted countless succulents and added a variety of California natives and other drought-tolerant plants. The result is an ever-changing, low-water landscape that continues to surprise and delight. I can easily lose hours there myself!

After taking in the garden, step inside to explore the studio where my mixed media, nature-inspired artworks come to life. I’ll have a variety of pieces on display and available for purchase, textured wall art, intricate three-dimensional works, and small treasures, some directly inspired by the garden you just walked through. You’ll also get a peek at my growing collection of natural specimens and curiosities, which often find their way into my work.

To make the day even more special, I’ve invited two talented artist friends to join me:

  • Angela Joy Houk, whose mixed media artworks and assemblage pieces explore the beauty and mystery of everyday life through the joy of creative expression.

  • Reva Wittenberg of Ziva Shayna Design, known for her elegant, 100% handcrafted copper jewelry and chain mail designs that reflect the shapes and spirit of nature.

It will be a relaxed, come-as-you-are kind of day; bring a friend, sip something cool, browse the art, and enjoy a bit of creative sanctuary. Whether you're looking for a thoughtful gift, a unique addition to your space, or simply a peaceful way to spend part of your weekend, I’d love to see you.

Please RSVP for the address, and feel free to share this invitation with anyone who loves art, gardens, and beauty.

I can’t wait to welcome you!
