 
      
      Why So Many Hours In The Dark?
Another midsummer day in a dim room creating cyanotypes, even though I still don’t know how they will fit into my art practice in the future, if at all. Altogether I’ve spent more than:
- four full days working plus prep time. 
- an undisclosed amount of money on extra fancy, cotton watercolor paper. 
- tons of time and coin on specialty transparency sheets that are designed specifically for making digital negatives. 
 
      
      Why I Make Art at Church
If you've been following me for a bit, you have probably seen that I occasionally create art live on stage at my church. We have four services over the weekend and I will be creating artwork for the full length of each ninety minute service, which are all the same. That's not a thing that happens at many churches and whether or not you are familiar with church world, you may have wondered why I do that. There's actually several reasons.
