bringing joy & peace through photographic art

Watercolor

Early in 2003 Judith began to keep a nature journal: taking Polaroid photos, writing and sketching. From this journal, a whole new body of work began to emerge. These images were taken with vintage Polaroid Land cameras and Polaroid 665 film, which produces a negative as well as a positive print. Judith prints the negatives in a traditional darkroom and paints them with Peerless watercolors, which have been produced for hand-coloring photographs for over one hundred years.
