Fine Art Prints
All of Judith’s work begins with her journal, writing and sketching, as well as using
her camera. She shoots with vintage cameras and Polaroid black and white film, printing
very small limited editions in a traditional darkroom on archival fiber-based paper,
often using transparencies to create another layer of images. She colors the original
black & white photos with various media including watercolors, colored pencils and oil
pastels. A limited edition pigment print is then created from the original photograph
by using state of the art computer technology. In this process, highly saturated,
archival dye and pigmented ink is sprayed onto archival paper. After printing,
Judith embellishes each pigment print by handcoloring select areas of the image with
colored pencil sticks. Each print is signed and numbered by Judith.
